Gold is one of the most critical resources in Last War, especially from HQ level 27–30, when upgrade and research costs skyrocket.
This guide shows you proven and efficient ways to farm more gold, without unnecessary grinding.
Attack Non-Allied Bases
Daily scouting can pay off big.
Look for bases not affiliated with any alliance that store more gold than food or iron.
These bases are rare but often appear near the edges of the map.
Maximize Research & Gold Production
Invest heavily in the Economic Research Tree to boost your gold output.
- Upgrade skills that reduce resource costs to save gold long term
- Recruit as many Epic or Legendary Survivors as possible
- Assign your best survivors to the Gold Mine
- At HQ level 27, your Gold Mine should be at least level 20
- At HQ level 30, aim for Gold Mine level 25
Kill Gold Zombies
Gold Zombies appear every two weeks.
Save as much stamina as possible before the event and use it during those three days to kill as many Gold Zombies as you can for massive gold gains.
Send Teams to High-Level Gold Mines Overnight
Before logging off, send your teams to high-level gold mines.
This allows you to collect resources efficiently while you sleep.
Join a Strong and Active Alliance
A powerful alliance dramatically accelerates your progression.
Benefits include:
- Faster access to resources
- Alliance rewards
- Event support and coordination
Gold income improves significantly in an active alliance environment.
Complete Daily Missions
Finish these tasks daily to maximize rewards:
- UR Trucks
- Radar Missions (pay attention to VS Duels)
- Secret Missions – refresh until UR level
Choose the Engineer Profession
Once available, select the Engineer profession to boost resource production.
From level 30, you unlock two key skills:
- Energy Saving
- Material Reduction & Recycling
These reduce construction and research costs by 5%, saving large amounts of gold over time.
Aim for the “Interior Minister” Title
Try to secure the Interior Minister title in the Capitol as often as possible.
This title increases the amount of resources you collect.
⚠️ Important: Activate the buff first, then collect resources at full capacity.
